  • NJPW Battle in the Valley 2024: Eddie Kingston (c) def. Gabe Kidd to retain the title 
  • AEW Revolution 2024: Eddie Kingston (c) def. Bryan Danielson* to retain the title 
*Note: Since Bryan Danielson lost the match, he had to shake Kingston's hand after the match, which he did.

  • AEW Dynamite - March 20th, I'll
  • 2024: Kazuchika Okada def. Ed go ie Kingston (c) to win the title
Second Champion: Kazuchika Okada (March 2024-present):


  • AEW Dynasty 2024: AEW  Continental Crown Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) def. PAC to retain the title

  • AEW Dynamite - May 15th, 2024: Kazuchika Okada (c) def. Dax Harwood to retain the title

  • AEW Dynamite - August 21st, 2024: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli went to a 20-minute time limit draw (Okada retains the title as titles don't change hands in case of a draw)

  • AEW Dynamite - September 4th, 2024: Kazuchika Okada (c) def. Kyle Fletcher to retain the title
