HISTORY:
The ROH Women's World Television Championship is comparable to the ROH World Television Championship in the men's division. The current champion and inaugural champion is Billie Starkz.
Ring of Honor Wrestling Owner Tony Khan unveiled the championship belt on December 16th, 2023 during a Ring of Honor Wrestling TV taping. The championship is a secondary title for the ROH women's division. The design of the title belt matches the men's ROH World Television Championship belt. The inaugural tournament features: Billie Starkz, Leyla Hirsch, Abadon, Taya Valkyrie, Robyn Renegade, Red Velvet, Mercedes Martinez, Diamante, Queen Aminata, Sussy Love, Sandra Moone, Viva Van, Rachael Ellering, Trish Adora, Kiera Hogan.
On the February 24th, 2024 taping of ROH on HonorClub TV, the second round of the ROH Women's World Television Championship Tournament began as Red Velvet defeated Leyla Hirsch while Queen Aminata defeated Taya Valkyrie to advance.
On March 7th, 2024 taping of ROH on HonorClub TV, another part of the second round of the ROH Women's World Television Championship Tournament took place where Billie Starkz defeated Diamante and Mercedes Martinez defeated Abadon to advance.
On the March 16th, 2024 taping of ROH on HonorClub TV, at the semifinals of the ROH Women's World Television Championship Tournament, Queen Aminata defeated Red Velvet and Billie Starkz defeated Mercedes Martinez, leaving it down to Queen Aminata vs. Billie Starkz to face off at ROH's Supercard of Honor pay-per-view to determine the inaugural champion.
On April 5th, 2024 at ROH's pay-per-view event Supercard of Honor 2024, Billie Starkz defeated Queen Aminata to become the inaugural ROH Women's World Television Champion.
